Delete your NourishStar account

You can delete your NourishStar account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains the two ways to do that.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

1. Open the NourishStar mobile app and sign in.
2. Tap the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to Account settings and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm the action when prompted.

Your account and the personal data we hold about you (see list below) are removed immediately when you confirm.

Option 2 — Email request

If you no longer have access to the app, email kuldeepchaudhary82@gmail.com from the email address registered with your NourishStar account and ask us to delete it. Use the subject line “Delete my account”.

We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of the verified request.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Account data (name, email, hashed password)
• Profile data (age, gender, height, weight, city, language)
• Health data (goals, dietary preferences, body composition, uploaded lab/blood reports)
• Activity data (meals, supplements, water intake, AI coach messages)
• Gamification data (fuel scores, streaks, badges, leaderboard rank)
• Device data (push-notification token, sessions)
• Photos you uploaded (e.g. food photos)

What we may retain

We may retain limited information for the periods listed below where we have a legal obligation or legitimate business need:

• Payment / invoice records — kept for up to 7 years where required by tax and accounting law. These are held by our payment processor (Razorpay) and contain only a transaction reference, not your profile data.
• Aggregated, anonymized analytics — these contain no information that could identify you and are not deleted.
• Backups — encrypted backups are rotated within 30 days; data in those backups is not accessible after that period.
